Every match across 240+ leagues runs through our Poisson model, which estimates each team's expected goals and the probability of every outcome. We compare those probabilities to live bookmaker odds and rank the results by expected value (EV) — so the bets where the model most disagrees with the bookmaker, in your favour, rise to the top. Each pick must also clear a minimum probability and odds threshold.
What does expected value (EV) mean?
Expected value is the long-run profit or loss of a bet as a percentage of your stake. A +10% EV bet would, on average, return €1.10 for every €1 staked if placed many times over. Positive EV means the bookmaker is offering higher odds than the true probability justifies — that gap is the edge. Individual bets still win or lose; the edge only shows across volume.
